Democrats falling short in bid for control of Senate
Control of the Senate remains in limbo after neither party won an outright majority of seats so far. Currently, the Democratic drive to win control of the Senate appeared to fall short, with Democrats picking up only one Republican-held seat. Six other races remained undecided early on Wednesday. To win the majority in the Senate, Democrats would need to pick up three Republican seats.
What a horrible turnout for the Dems. This is the American people rejecting the intersectional ideology wholesale. Up to 10 house seats flipped to Republicans. Republicans decimated in Kentucky and South Carolina after Dems pumped a quarter billion to oust Mitch Mcconnell and Lindsay Graham. I'm so proud of America right now!
So it will be status quo in DC. More gridlock and nothing of note getting done.
So basically all of Congress is going to have the biggest vacation in the next 4 years. How great.
Good. That will put an end to the Democrat's ridiculous court-packing ideas. The Constitution works as-is. Leave it alone.
