Mississippi voted to accept a new state flag, replacing its previous Confederate-themed flag banner. Citizens on Tuesday approved the flag’s new design of magnolia at center of a blue background with red and yellow bars at end. The magnolia flag was only design on general election ballot, and voters were asked to say yes or no. Approximately 70% of people voted yes, according to AP projection.
A white flower?! This is obviously white supremacy!
It was a landslide vote, and it does look better, so that's pretty neat.
Ah, a flower. With its soft petals wide open just like the states rectum, waiting for liberal insertions.
Looks very gay the old one was great looking
As a Mississippian it’s pretty annoying that they had to finally trade in our old, problematic and offensive flag but for a new problematic and controversial flag.
Replace the confederate looking flag with a Buddhism looking flag. Nice change but not authentic enough.
Beautiful flag. Simple but iconic. It reminds me of some of the prefectural flags in Japan.
Racism solved, soon nothing offensive will be left in the world and it'll be Utopia! YAY 😍
To be fair the flag looks nice.
Beautiful design
Love it! Good job, Mississippi
Gay
Im no lefty but this flag is definitely a major upgrade, nice!
That is truly a lovely flag. Good job Mississippi
The previous flag was a terrible design, this new one actually looks worthy to pin on my wall
I don't live in Mississippi and therefore I don't get a vote and that's exactly as it should be. But it's a nice looking flag.
