The Fed. Communications Commission announced on Wed. that T-Mobile will pay a $200mn fine as part of a settlement to determine a probe into Sprint’s alleged abuses of a fed program aimed at low-income subscribers. This comes after an FCC audit found Sprint claiming monthly subsidies for 885,000 customers as part of federal Lifeline program, even though they were actually not using it.
I wonder what that means.
