Republican John James’ Michigan Senate campaign accused local officials of impropriety, voter suppression, and election interference Wednesday. James eventually lost his bid to upset Democratic Sen. Gary Peters. Peters won 49.7% of the vote as compared to 48,4% for James, with nearly 75,000 votes separating the two.
