Sainsbury’s cautions 3,500 jobs could be cut owing to supermarket restructuring

Sainsbury’s has cautioned that 3,500 jobs could be cut across its supermarket counters and Argos stores. This is because its in-store meat, fish and deli counters were closed permanently due to lack of demand. 120 additional Argos branches face closure as it hasten a drive to open Argos within its supermarket. A total of 420 Argos stores are to be closed over the next three-and-a-half years.
