UK Chancellor Sunak to extend furlough scheme to March end

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has confirmed that he will extend furlough scheme across UK until March end. The scheme will pay up to 80% of a person’s wage up to £2,500 a month and govt will review the policy in Jan. The chancellor said he intends to give businesses security through the winter. As part of the revised scheme, anyone made redundant after 23rd Sept. can be rehired and put back on furlough.

Bread and circuses. However even with the bread still coming, winter is here the situation we had with the rather nice summer has gone. People cannot live by bread alone; and so, without the preoccupation combined with darker more miserable days the UK will soon turn riotous - it is only a matter of time.
