Three civilians praised for helping emergency services during Vienna shootings
Three men have been hailed for helping a police officer and an elderly woman during Monday’s terror attack in Austria’s capital, Vienna. The three are Recep Gultekin, Osama Joda and Mikail Ozen. While Gultekin and Ozen are of Turkish origin, Joda is of Palestinian origin. Gultekin was shot in a leg while aiding the woman. Five, including the Macedonian-origin attacker were killed in the shooting.
