US shatters daily Covid-19 record with over 114,000 cases amid election drama
The US set a new record for the number of fresh Covid-19 cases in a single day. The country recorded over 114,000 cases on Thursday, according to an NYT tally. This comes at a time when the election between President Trump and his Democratic challenger Joe Biden has entered a cliffhanger with both the contestants having a chance to get the 270 electoral college votes to clinch the presidency.

I wonder if this increase had anything to do with Trump Superspreader events.
If Biden wins and he is unable to do anything about corona the media is going to be put in an awkward spot. Will they lose all integrity and make excuses for Biden and the death numbers or just stop reporting on corona alltogether or will they hold Biden accountable to the same level as Trump? Now that I think about it they will probably blame Trump for it being so bad that it is now too late for Biden to do anything about it.
