Florida voters have approved an amendment to raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2026. However, it barely crossed the 60% threshold that constitutional amendments need for approval by getting the backing of 60.8% voters. Now, the state’s minimum wage will increase from $8.56 to $10 in September next year, then go up by $1 each year until it reaches $15 in 2026.
Better ways to improve wealth accumulation opportunities but Republicans would freak so this is the only solution. long overdue and necessary and yet not the best option.
But then voted for the guy who rejects the idea 🤦♂️
Minimum wage hikes aren't necessarily a good thing
The SMARTEST thing Florida voters have done!
Min wage increase INCREASES poverty
Florida man wanted to get paid more but then lost his job...now unemployed Florida man will get into more hijinks.
