What if Trump and Biden are tied at 269 electoral college votes?

Joe Biden has 253 electoral votes while Donald Trump has 214 and this election is now going down to the wire. Whoever gets 270 votes will win the presidency. So, is a 269-269 tie possible? Yes, it’s possible, but looks unlikely at this stage. If that happens, the law gives the House of Representatives elected on Tuesday to pick the winner and it gives the Democrats an edge as they are in majority.

According to 12th amendment, the House decides by one vote per State. That being the case, based on the results announced, between 26-27 states will be majority Red. And therefore, if Trump wins AZ, NV, PA and NC... and Biden wins GA (which would yield a 269-269 tie), Trump would probably be elected President by the House. Interestingly, though, the House gets to choose from the top 3 vote-getters, so, who knows, maybe they'll pick Jo Jorgensen. But, here is an interesting question... The Senate chooses the VP. If the Senate ends up tied, would Pence be able to cast the tie-breaker for himself?!?
