214 people infected with mink-related coronavirus discovered by Denmark
According to a report on the website of Denmark’s State Serum, since June, mink related strands of coronavirus have been discovered in 214 people. But only 12 people and five mink farms so far have seen the antibody resistant strain of the mutated virus which has caused Denmark to cull its entire herd of mink. The step was taken so as to avoid re-transmission of that strain from mink to humans.
