Inrupt, the startup from World Wide Web founder Tim Berners-Lee, announced an enterprise version of the Solid privacy platform today, which allows large organizations and governments to build applications that put users in control of their data. Berners-Lee wants to put people back in charge of their data. Solid is an open source project, developed at MIT to help make that possible.

I'd go one further and charge companies for its use. Get rid of these so called free services where the individual receiving the free service is the product.
