Biden’s German shepherd to be first rescue dog in White House
President-elect Joe Biden’s German shepherd, ’Major’, will be the first rescue dog at the White House. Adopted from the Delaware Humane Association in November 2018, this is the second German shepherd in the family. While the White House has a long tradition of presidential pets, there were none in the last four years.
