Denmark’s plans to kill the country’s 17 million mink herd following the finding of a mutated Covid-19 strain among them are facing legal impediments. The government admitted it did not have legal basis for the order. Some scientists are also said it was unnecessary. Authorities initiated the action last week, saying the new strain could infect humans and elude future COVID-19 vaccines.
