Vatican confirms allegations of sexual abuse against ex-cardinal McCarrick
The Vatican on Tuesday published its two-year, 400-plus-page internal investigation into ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick rise and fall in a bid to restore credibility to the US and Vatican hierarchies, which have been shattered by the McCarrick scandal. Francis defrocked McCarrick, 90, last year after a Vatican investigation confirmed allegations of sexually molesting adults as well as children.

oh they officially admitted the... misconduct of one of their higher ups? how very progressive. guess the vatican has turned a new leaf and will no longer tolerate even the most obscure cases of abuse. faith restored praise the lord. 😧
