Japanese town tests robot wolf to scare away bears

A Japanese town has deployed robot wolves in the hopes of scaring away bears and other wildlife that can damage crops -- or potentially residents. The robot named ’Monster Wolf,’ is being tested in the town of Takikawa, in Northern Japan. JAPANkyo reports the ’scarecrow’ was created by Ohta Seiki and is about two feet long with a furry body, four legs, red, glowing eyes, and speakers.
