Biden COVID-19 adviser floats idea of 4 to 6 week lockdown to control pandemic

Dr. Michael Osterholm, a coronavirus advisor to Joe Biden, has floated the idea of a nationwide coronavirus lockdown for four to six weeks in an effort to rein in the illness. A nationwide lockdown would drive the number of new cases and hospitalizations down to manageable levels, he said. Osterholm suggests, ’we could pay for a package right now to cover all of the wages, lost wages.’
