So I’m assuming the Russian interference claims delegitimize democracy as well? Or is it only when Trump does it?

If they are confident they won legally, why fight the recounts and audits??? Recounts, audits, and transparency would only serve to increase confidence in the voting systems.

Also, the "NEWS" used to be apart of our checks and balance system but not now, it's a propaganda platform.

What a nice example of reverse logic. The mere existence and possibility of those claims is proof that USA is still a democratic country that values rule of law. The due process has to run with outmost diligence. The results should be published transparently and honestly. What do I get wrong?

That is a ridiculous thing to say... because that effectively means: "the crime doesn't destabilize the democracy, the investigation and questioning of it does." That is 100% backwards. We should be exceedingly quick to investigate, because if we don't find anything, Great!, but if we do find something, then it strengthens the democracy (republic) to fix it. The only way investigating can be a "dangerous path" is if that was really a veiled threat of future "unrest" and "peaceful protests" if Trump becomes the victor. You can't be hurt by looking at something under the microscope, only if you find something that someone else doesn't want you to know.

You know what delegitimizes democracy? Pretending election fraud never happens.

It is not the claim itself it is the democrats election fraud itself that delegitimatises democracy.

Trump is acting squarely within the Consitution and the rights of the 72 million Americans that voted FOR him. Democrats of course would love to delegitimize and disenfranchise their opponents, same values, or lack thereof, that it takes to steal an election.

Obama is not the right person to talk about delegitimizing the democratic process. Unless it is a how-to lecture. The history of his administration gives a scary example of what can (and does) happen when you have activists occupying important positions in governmental organizations.
