Asian nations to set up world’s biggest trading pact involving China
15 countries in Asia, including China, have agreed to set up the world’s biggest trading bloc that will help recover from the losses suffered during the pandemic. Termed as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, or RCEP, the deal was signed virtually on Sunday on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit. The accord will allow for lowering tariffs on trade between member countries.
