Facebook and Twitter have basically used their own editorial censorship to create their own echo chamber for what they think everyone should believe. Those who want to have open dialogue are leaving, not because they want to surround themselves with like minded people, but rather so that there can be an open discourse. Real gold fears no fire. Real truth doesn't fear the light of open examination!

No, these are just anti censorship platforms. It just so happens that mostly conservatives(which is a 180 from the 90's and early 2000s) and moderates believe in freedom of speech. You can post anything that's left leaning, even conspiracy theories without getting censored. I don't use social media anymore, but if I did, I would consider using these again.

Newsvoice is also a good alternative to add to our arsenal of Someplace To Go. We don't need to censor discussion of differing opinions, If people want to only go where everyone agrees with them, that's their thing, let them. And don't forget Gab + Gab Ternds + Dissenter.

People socially segregate to their 'echo chambers' because they feel good there, and feel as if they can speak without being dog-piled. The solution is don't join social media, or use it for friends/family only, and mute or ignore the azzholes you somehow still like, but don't want to hear their vitriol all the time.

Im on Parler and I do likes its dedication to free speech but there most certainly is ALOT of hardcore trump supporters on there with the typical overt right wing rhetoric but more trumpian. I dont see normal conservatives on there I see trump fan after trump fan after tump fan who are also part of that Qanon shit. Basically an echo chamber for trumpism mixed in with other stuff. I dont think Parler itself promotes the overbearing right wing postings however, its all use generated. Took a look for yourself. Its laughable and sad and fun at the same time.
