Leprosy found in chimps for the first time
Scientists were left confused after leprosy was detected in wild chimpanzees in West Africa. Scientists are looking to find the root of the disease which is mostly found in humans. As per a new report by Science Magazine, the disease was discovered in several chimps in Cantanhez National Park in Guinnea-Bissau as well as in Tai National Park in Ivory Coast, more than a thousand miles away.
