Record 184,000 new daily COVID cases seen in the United States

On Friday, a new record for daily COVID-19 cases was made by the United States as it reported more than 184,000 new positive cases. New social restrictions are being implemented in various states as the number of deaths increase. Americans were pleaded to follow basic mitigation measures by president-elect, Joe Biden. President Donald Trump has also promised imminent distribution of a vaccine.
