McConnell warns against a rapid withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, Iraq
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell publicly disagreed with President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw most of US troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. McConnell said a premature American exit would likely be ’even worse than President Obama’s withdrawal from Iraq back in 2011, which fueled the rise of ISIS,’ adding, ’It would be reminiscent of the humiliating US departure from Saigon in 1975.’
Iraq is worth overseeing but Afghanistan is never going to be much better than it is now.
Mr. McConnell, we shouldn't have been in Vietnam either. Stop blocking every attempt to bring our armed forces home.

Ah yes, let's listen to the military wisdom of Mitch mcconnell. Iraq voted to kick us out, our presence in the middle east just radicalizes them. Less troops means less spending, or more likely, more troops available for iran.
