Tehran says US would face a ’crushing’ response if it attacks Iran
Ali Rabiei, an Iranian government spokesman, said any US attack on Iran would face a ’crushing’ response. This comes after reports that President Donald Trump considered striking Iran’s nuclear sites recently. Rabiei reiterated Iran’s nuclear program is for peaceful needs and said, ’I personally don’t foresee that it’s probable that they (the US) would want to cause insecurity in the region.’
I remember when the Baathists used to say the same thing.
You should never underestimate your enemy, but I feel like Iran would he completely outplayed here.
Also does that Iranian government official not know the US? Does he think the US cares about the stability of the region at all? Country: *has oil* USA: “Did somebody order some freedom?” Country: *Has not a democracy* USA: “You are being rescued, do not resist”

Well hopefully Trump will continue to pull our troops out of the region if he wins. And maybe Biden will continue to do what Trump started, although I doubt it.

The US Armed Forced conducted the largest military training exercise ever in 2003 when it tried to simulate a war with an “unnamed state” which is really just Iran. The US armed forces lost miserably with 19 ships being “sunk” including an aircraft carrier before they even made landfall. So yeah, we’re definitely gonna win this one...
