Trump campaign loses PA Supreme Court lawsuit over election observers

The Trump campaign lost another post-election legal challenge, after the PA Supreme Court ruled that the Philadelphia Board of Elections acted within its authority in regulating the positioning of election observers. The court ruled that the election code grants counties discretion on the issue. The Trump camp had complained that the distancing prevented them from monitoring the counting process.

It's quite funny from the perspective of people living in EU. USA at this point seems more corrupt than Russia. The election is filled with fraud and mismanagement and the media and politicians are trying their hardest to silence everyone. Seems like USA is more akin to banana republic.

You do realize this is going to the Supreme Court?

Um, a judge had ruled PA had to let observers within 6 feet to see the counting, but the PA SC says otherwise? They do know what the point of an observer is, right? There’s no point having them if they’re unable to observe anything

So does that make 14 or 15 losses so far?

So they're allowed to cheat? That's literally what the synopsis of this story says "they have discretion", what the fuck else does that mean?

And no Republicans are out rioting, shooting people and burning building downs because he lost.

Observers behind a fence, only the closest tables are 6 feet away many are like 40 feet away, and obscured from view. See this local news report. Video

Who is paying for all these frivolous lawsuits being brought by the most litigious failed businessman-turned- "reality"-show-host?

At this point, the courts should just grant them one win. So they have something to celebrate. These cases are getting tossed out by the dozens. Heard just one case that went in their favor.

Another 5-2 split along partisan lines. Don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. Friendly, blow-softening reminder for Lefties: Supreme Court is R majority. House Legislature will be R26-D24 by state.

As a African African I think that we can teach America a lot about making elections look free and fair. The observer's are ment to be close so that people can observe the election to be fair. Doesn't need to be, only needs to be observed to be... Damn Americans can't even get the basics right

Just so everyone is aware, this is another bit of fake news just like "trump drops lawsuit in philly" the other day. The judge said he hasnt made a decision yet and needs to "mull it over". After hearing arguments from Guiliani, the judge canceled a second hearing set for Thursday, Nov 19. A canceled hearing does not mean a lost case. The evidence does seem thin, but saying the case has been lost is a flat out lie.

No wonder they ruled that way. Pennsylvania SC are the ones who started this mess in the first place by extending the deadline by 3 days, which is unconstitucional as the state legislature had the sole power over the state elections.

So the court didn’t deny that poll watchers were prevented from seeing the counts? They just said that this isn’t a problem? What is this, Russia?

Trump666 by NORMAL standards is DONE; though I really don't understand why ANYONE would support him at all, and I myself as a believer CAN'T. Makes a person wonder HOW trump won in 2016 with a minority of the vote. Before someone screams Electorial College; now that same group is obligated to Elect Biden. Another question. Why trump fighting so hard to win; obsessively fighting. Why? Not because he LOVES Y'ALL; he wouldn't spit on us IF we were ablazed.

Basically, the idea of democratic rule of law is out of the window in USA. What does rule is unelected legion of functionaries and media. The social platforms are starting to flex their muscles too. Near 180 comments under this news item at the time of this writing and most of them are either personal insults or insults being thrown at Trump or Biden. Let us admit, everyone, we don't really know what happened (especially when it comes to the computerized parts of the process) and we don't know what Trump is planning. How about we stop mutual insults, talking conjecture and so on, and rather just wait and let the events run their course. Then we could talk, better without insults though.

Can everyone who still thinks Trump is going to win just post their email so I can just contact you all at once when you realize it’s over? Thank you!

I think it's clear that the US has the most corruptible collection of voting systems on the planet. It's time for an upgrade, but of course nothing will happen, even though both parties agree it's corrupt... But only when they lose.

RED ALERT: George Governor Brian P. Kemp ordered state agencies to buy from Chinese Lenovo and interlocking vendors on Mar. 28, 2019, undermining U.S. sovereignty, the citizens of Georgia and the 2020 election The interlocking vendors include members of Obama’s Technology Council and members of the IBM Eclipse Foundation (incl. Chinese Tsinghua University) that stole the invention of social networking from Columbus-OH-based Leader Technologies, including IBM, Dell, EMC, HP and NetApp. The “mandatory” requirement of Chinese Lenovo means all Georgia infrastructure and access to every citizens’ home has backdoors to China These systems were used in the 2020 Georgia election
