Thailand protests continue after lawmakers reject demands by protesters

Central Bangkok saw a gathering of thousands of pro democracy protesters, a day after a chaotic protest outside Parliament was marred by violence that left 55 people injured. Six of the injured also had gunshot wounds, as per reports. The protests on Tuesday had been held to encourage lawmakers to approve a motion which would lead to major constitutional change.
