Owl found in Rockefeller Center Christmas tree

A worker helping set up the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree found a tiny owl among the massive branches. The little bird, now named Rockefeller, was discovered on Monday, dehydrated and hungry. Rockefeller’s now been taken to the Ravensbeard Wildlife Center in Saugerties, New York. Officials said the plan was to release the owl back to the wild this weekend.

The Christmas tree in Rockefeller plaza is an archaic throw back to a whiter mor christian time in America. How many wild life habitats are we going to destroy so people can come and see a forgettable moment in their history? Ease up on Christmas, it is not that important.
