UK-EU Brexit trade talks suspended after negotiator tests positive for Covid-19

The jinxed Brexit trade talks between the United Kingdom and the European Union were suspended Thursday after an EU negotiator tested positive for the coronavirus. This has added uncertainty to the talks as the January 1 deadline is approaching fast and both sides are still divided on three key issues. The EU will need about four weeks to complete the approval process of any deal, if inked at all.

OMG just no deal and leave already. The EU needs the UK more than the UK needs the EU.

Weird how these negotiations cannot be performed over teleconference. Seems like an excuse.

This is just another ploy, if the UK government really wanted Brexit they would have it. Instead they delay, withhold, argue and don't get anything done. They made a mistake asking for a referendum after blaming all their own faults on the EU and now they don't want to adhere to the vote they asked for.
