T-Mobile adds 988 suicide prevention hotline to its network

T-Mobile announced it is adding the new 988 suicide prevention and mental health hotline to its network. The network becomes the first major wireless provider to do so. This new number was instituted earlier this year by the Federal Communications Commission as an easier and quicker method to call for those who want to contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline but it does not receive texts.
