Pizza joint employee forces 1.7 million people in Australia into lockdown

South Australia imposed a six-day lockdown after officials came across dozens of new cases of the virus. Investigations led to a Woodville Pizza Bar where a highly contagious COVID-19 patient had visited. Later, officials discovered that the patient was, in fact, an employee at the restaurant. The 36-year-old man is on a temporary student visa, which expires next month.

Humans are inherently selfish. Going to work while sick is more common than we wish to acknowledge. The fact they can trace this case is the odd factor, not that someone went to work sick.
