Dig uncovers remains of rich man and slave killed by Vesuvius eruption

The remains of two men killed in the volcanic eruption which annihilated the city of Pompeii in ancient Rome nearly 2,000 years ago were discovered by archaeologists. The Culture Ministry of Italy reported that the find was made in a dig carried out during the coronavirus pandemic. One of the victims is believed to be a man of high status, and still had traces of a woolen cloak under his neck.
