A human rights panel working with the United Nations declared on Monday that former Renault-Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn was wrongly detained in Japan. The panel has also recommended ’compensation’ for him from the Japanese government. The Japanese government slammed the report and described it as a ’totally unacceptable’ viewpoint that will change nothing in the country’s legal process.
Where was the UNs Human rights panel when Saudi Arabia was bombing Yemen back to the stone age or when China was harvesting organs from Muslim prisoners or Pakistan executing Christian women for being victims of rape? Oh thats right Saudi, Pakistan and China have all been on the UNs human rights counsil. Kinda makes you wonder what point is there in the UN.
