Pfizer, Moderna didn’t include pregnant women in their Covid-19 vaccine trials

Pfizer and Moderna claimed that their Covid-19 vaccines are over 90% effective. However, it’s still unclear if the vaccines would be given to pregnant women as they weren’t included in the clinical trials by these two companies. ’The 19th’ reported that Pfizer said it’s doing early research, not yet in humans, to see how the vaccine works in pregnancy, while Moderna hasn’t specified any such plan.

"Pregnant people" carefull with their words. Not surprising that "women" shouldn't put their unborn at risk. But maybe there is some that wouldn't mind putting some unwanted cells to task.

Children also need protected but there have been no large scale efficacy trials with them, either. Children often have different reactions to things than adults. We need to know if it's safe for them, too.
