Activist Joshua Wong pleads guilty over 2019 Hong Kong protest

Prominent Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong and two other activists pleaded guilty to charges of organizing and taking part in an unauthorized assembly near the police headquarters during last year’s anti-government protests. They were immediately arrested. They are expected to be sentenced on Dec. 2. and face a maximum five-year jail term.
