Snap is to launch Spotlight similar to TikTok and Instagram Reels

Snapchat announced launch of Spotlight which is similar to TikTok and Instagram Reels. It will show users top snaps that have been submitted for consideration by app’s over 249mn daily users. Spotlight snaps will play in a constant loop until users swipe to next one. Previously, Snapchat users were restricted to watch snaps posted by their friends or posted by publishers in app’s Discover feature.
