Louisiana, Texas can end Planned Parenthood funding, federal court rules

A federal appeals court ruled that Louisiana and Texas can end funding to Planned Parenthood clinics. Pro-life activists had long demanded that federal Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood be stopped as some PP clinics perform abortions. Pro-choice activists have argued that the ruling would deny women the right to choose their providers for even vital non-abortion health services.

Even if you are "pro choice" I think most people should be able to agree that tax funded abortions are not right.

>99% of abortions are done for convenience reasons. Basically you couldn't be bothered to be responsible with your reproductive power, and now you don't want to deal with the consequences of your actions. You are a selfish, irresponsible, and bad person(not eternally but in that moment) if you have an abortion. Tax payer money shouldn't be spent to subsidize your bad behavior and poor life decisions.

Louisiana and Texas can now deny women healthcare and their legal right to choose. Another lurching step backwards.

I love seeing the country move so quickly away from the horrors of the progressive agenda. You are making me proud America! Now if we can just survive what looks to be a terrible, but teethless Biden administration we can get a real president in office again and move forward as world leaders. We just have to endure 4 years of a unintelligible racist as executive. Luckily he won't be able to do much without any congressional support.

So two entire states have decided to use pregnancy as a punishment. Got it, women aren't people, they are merely semen recepticles for their owner/husband.

The argument that non-abortion services would be denied falls flat considering that planned parenthood doesn’t offer anything else.

Nearly all PP’s in Louisiana are strategically located near schools. They arent providing healthcare, they are intentionally stealing our money through subsidies to make money on ignorant children. 40M dead from Abortions, nearly 4x the people killed in the Holocaust.

Good they shouldn't be paid for with tax payer dollars if you want an abortion pay for it yourself don't push your bad decisions on others

Well I guess in the Big Picture of things it really doesn't matter since in Bidens World everything is Free. The only difference is now they will not be getting Millions of dollars to get rich off of our Tax Dollars to promote it. Maybe they should go back and ask their Elite Supporters to Donate Money to their cause.

If you want to kill a baby, the male and female that has made the baby need to pay for that killing themselves PERIOD It is about freedom of choice so you who made the baby make the choice.

Hi, genuine question here, what is the argument for abortion being a woman’s right? Or am I phrasing it incorrect?

I think it's grand that those who were lucky not to be aborted don't respond in kind when the life of a child is downgraded to an inconvenience.

Judges are very aware that those states smell of too many Walmart shoppers.
