Maxwell isolated after prison staffer contracts Covid-19
Ghislaine Maxwell, who was an ex-girlfriend and a close associate of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, has been quarantined at a Brooklyn federal prison after a jail staffer where she is housed tested positive for Covid-19. Prosecutors told a judge that Maxwell, 58, was put in isolation on Wednesday as a precaution despite her testing negative. They said Maxwell isn’t showing any symptoms.
