French minister ’shocked’ by images of cops breaking refugee camp, orders probe

Gérald Darmanin, France’s interior minister, said he was shocked to see footage of the police breaking up a protest refugee camp in central Paris, in which they were which they were seen chasing people, attacking journalists and others with truncheons and teargas. Calling the police action ’unacceptable,’ Darmanin ordered the police’s internal disciplinary body to investigate it.

If those tents are illegal, as Daily Mail states, and people refuse to leave... what other option police officers have to clear them out, other than being forceful? True immoral choice was letting them in first place, without actual plan, this is just aftermath.
