Amazon ties up with US federal agency to stop sale of counterfeit goods

Amazon announced a joint operation – dubbed ’Operation Fulfilled Action’ – with the US National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center in an effort to stop counterfeit goods from entering the country. The partnership will rely on intelligence gathered from Amazon’s Counterfeit Crimes Unit, US Customs and Border Patrol, and logistics company DHL to block sale of counterfeit products.
