South Carolina man pleads guilty in plotting to attack White House, Trump Tower
South Carolina’s Kristopher Sean Matthews entered a guilty plea in San Antonio, Texas to a charge of conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State – a designated foreign terrorist organization. Authorities said Matthews, 34, who goes by Ali Jibreel, advised radicals on attacking sites like the White House, Trump Tower in New York and the New York Stock Exchange in internet chatrooms.
