Marginal gain of 1.3% in Oct for manufactured goods

Orders to United States factories for big-ticket manufactured goods showed a marginally gain in October but key contribution was from jump in orders for military equipment. Orders for durable goods, items expected to last at least three years, rose a better-than-anticipation of 1.3% in October and that gain was followed by an upwardly revised 2.1% increase in September.
