Wildfire concern for Southern California residents due to Santa Ana winds

The National Weather Service issued red flag warnings after gusty conditions across the West put Southern California on high alert. Forceful Santa Ana winds between 40 mph and 65 mph, and low humidity forced power companies to issue a warning to residents about potential power shutoffs in the face of an increased wildfire risk. ’Be careful with anything that could start a fire,’ the NWS tweeted.
