An Iranian diplomat accused of planning a thwarted bomb attack against an exiled Iranian opposition group in France refused to show up at courthouse on Fri on first day of trial on terror charges in Belgium. Assadollah Assadi and three other suspects face between 5 years and 20 years in prison on charges of ’attempted terrorist murder and participation in activities of a terrorist organization’.
