American oil executives jailed in Venezuela, family asks for mercy
Six American oil executives have been imprisoned on corruption charges in Venezuela. While some of the families of the executives intend to pursue an appeal, others have written to President Nicolás Maduro requesting him to free the imprisoned. All six are being held at the El Helicoide prison in Caracus.

I think its hilarious that people in the comments are against this just because its Venezuela. I'm fairly certain that these charges of corruption are true, and need I remind you people that Venezuela is a democracy, no matter how hard the media tries to rebrand them in order to give us cause to invade them and steal their oil.
