Former CIA chief, John Brennan, has condemned the killing of a top Iranian nuclear scientist as ’highly reckless’ and ’criminal.’ Brennan said that the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh ’risks lethal retaliation & a new round of regional conflict.’ He added that Iranians should hold off any possible retaliation and ’wait for the return of responsible American leadership on the global stage.’
