46 year old Tony Hsieh, the retired CEO of Las Vegas-based online shoe retailer Zappos.com died on Friday, as per a statement from DTP Companies, which he founded. Hsieh had worked many years to transform the city’s downtown area. Hsieh had been injured in a house fire while visiting Connecticut, Puoy Premsrirut, a lawyer for Hsieh reported. An official cause of death wasn’t announced.
