UK says Brexit trade talks with EU are in their ’last week’
An agreement is possible over a post-Brexit deal with the EU if the bloc shows pragmatism, said UK Foreign Secretary Raab, as the talks between the 2 parties enter in the ’last major week’ of negotiations. Agreement over fishing rights remains the major obstacle. The UK left the EU on 31 Jan, but it is continuing to follow the bloc’s rules until the end of the year as part of a transition period.
