Biden mulling picking Rahm Emanuel as transportation secretary, report says
President-elect Joe Biden is considering Rahm Emanuel, former Chicago mayor, as to lead the Department of Transportation, AP reported. Emanuel is among several hopefuls for the post. However, some Democrats are not in favor of Emanuel. Last month, NY Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told NYT that Emanuel has a ’hostile approach on the grass-roots and the progressive wing of the party.’
