Lexington, KY mayor seeks to move emergency aid funds to ’Critical Race Theory’

Lexington, Kentucky, Mayor Linda Gorton is under fire for recently proposing to redirect $120,000 from funds earmarked for an emergency rental assistance program to instead provide Critical Race Theory (CRT) training to council members. The assistance program was aimed at helping people that suffered financial blows from the pandemic.

Imagine being so woke that you fuck over people that suffered because of Covid so you can tell people that they are racist for being white

It's very racist to assume that only black and brown bodies need rent assistance. I'm sure there are plenty of white bodies that could use the same. This is like when someone says "felons shouldn't vote" and someone responds "that's racist then because blacks can't vote." If you think about it, poor kids are just as smart as white kids.

I see. So only certain races suffered under the pandemic? How does Critical Race Theory even factor in logically?

part of me thinks this has to be a joke but what I've seen in the last 5yrs I know this women thinks this has to happen, the people in need because of covid can wait. they think everyone is racist and if only they change everyone for the better the world can move forward as they know it

Why house the homeless when you can spend the money virtue signaling?
