UN, Ethiopia sign deal for humanitarian access to Tigray

The UN has said it has reached a deal with Ethiopia to allow aid into the country’s conflict-torn Tigray region. There has been no confirmation of this from the Ethiopian government. This comes as reports indicate that food and medicines are said to be running out for millions of people. Hundreds have reportedly been killed in the month-long fighting between the federal army and the TPLF.
